The studio name and the featured photos up top may have clued you in to the fact that I love doing photography of babies. I think that pregnancy, birth and newborns is the most amazing thing in life. Not only is this a passion of mine, but I believe that every family should have excellent photos of all the people that they love.

Maternity Sessions

A family starts with a little baby bump! Baby bellies make me excited, and I love them. I love capturing the energy and love that glows from a pregnant woman. As a mother, I'm respectful of boundaries, and can showcase expecting mothers with beautiful photos. I shoot with studio lights, and my studio has a very flattering north-facing window for great natural light portraits.

Newborn Sessions

Guess what? I love newborns! I have set up my studio to have everything that is needed to tend to and bring the best out of babies that are only a few days old.

I try to do sessions within the first ten days of life. I like capturing them when they are still exhibiting their womb-like behavior, and while they still love to curl into little balls.

Newborn sessions are photographed at my studio on Second street - where we have full access to all of my beautiful props and studio lighting. (My studio also has a shower, and a washing machine and dryer, so any newborn mess is no big deal!)

I Love Infants!

I have a dedicated shooting space, with changing tables, and lots of props, so you don't have to worry if the weather is suitable for your infant. I can schedule on your precious child's timetable so that you will have that perfect photo.

Children Portraits

I have a full selection of backdrops and props, as well as full studio lighting set-ups, and my studio is located right near Cahoon Park, which is full of outdoor opportunities that are perfect for children. I have spent lots of time shooting at that park and know several 'photogenic' spots to capture great photos of children.

Family Portraits

As it turns out, having passion and experience in doing portraits of children means that doing family portraits is one of my strong suits. I have patience, and can connect with children and great photos come out of that connection.

A little about myself. My name is Kelly. I'm the mother of three wonderful little ones, (one little man, and two darling girls), and the wife of my high school sweetheart.

I was born and raised here in Roswell, where I had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember.

I spent ten years accidentally doing commercial photography in Los Angeles. I was doing photography until I could figure out what my career was, and eventually realized that photography was my career. Funny how much life happens when you aren't paying attention.

I learned on film cameras, and although I'm sold on the benefits of the modern digital process, I still love the magic of the analog process.

In addition to my 'work' in photography, I have a few personal projects that I share with family and friends. My favorite is that I have made and shared a minimum of 24 photos of my family every week for the past five years.

This is to say that I do lots of photography, and have burned out the shutter mechanism on more than one camera over the years. However, I do love music and art. Photography is just my prefered way of expressing myself.

My Creativity Fee is $125 and includes my time and talent to capture and edit images on a maternity, child or family session. Newborn sessions are slightly more because of the extended studio time. Sessions may take place at my studio on Second street or on location. Prints and products sold separately.

Print prices start at $20 - Digital negatives, storyboards, albums and announcements are available.

I'm a member of the Photographic Arts Society of Roswell, and frequently go on the photo safaris that the group puts on. Check out the events section of their facebook page for dates and times of the safaris. I also can be found at the club meetings.

If you couldn't already tell, I'm a very visual person, and love the visual arts, so you can also find me at many of the art lectures and exhibit openings in and around town. I'm particularly fond of the Roswell Artist-in-Residence exhibits that display at the Roswell Museum and Art Center.

I'm also part of the Grace Community Church MOPS, and can be found at those meetings as well.

I have been doing commercial photography for the last ten years, and as a result I have a wide variety of experience delivering professional results in many areas aside from children and families.
